Car Performacne Tuning
Chip tuning is one of the oldest methods for improving the performance of car. With advent of computer technology, the process of tuning chip has become more technical than mechanical, and today instead of visiting the mechanic shop car owners can tune their cars according to their required parameters by having the knowledge of car mechanism and computer use. But, this has now given the birth to new debate that which is best method of tuning- the classical method of getting the car tuned by a mechanic or tuning it yourself by making the use of tuning box.

In this regard, it would be interested to know that there is not much difference in the method of tuning the car by both the ways and nor in the results delivered by both of them. The tuning box available today is more electronic and configured in box that is supported by the cable which is attached to the engine control unit of the car. Therefore, whatever the type of chip tuning process you adopt the main objective is improve performance of the car and which both of them enjoy almost the same success.

Although, the only difference which modern chip tuning box enjoys over the conventional method of chip tuning is its simple installation and which can be done by the car owner himself. Apart from this, if you are not satisfied by the performance of your car by tuning it with latest tuning box, then you are free to go back to the previous settings of tuning and get them re-tuned by the mechanic manually.

Chip Tuning

The chip tuning box remaps the settings of engine control unit (ECU) software installed in the car to control the functionality of engine and various components associated with it. The tuning process ensures that engine is tuned in such a way that it becomes capable for performing to its fullest capacity. The major benefits enjoyed by chip tuning are improvement in power and torque generation efficiency, improved fuel efficiency, improved air intake and smooth flow of hazardous gases through exhaust system.
